Sadasiva Katta, M.D. graduated from Guntur Medical College, Guntur, India. After working for the Ministry of Health in Kingston, Jamaica for three years, Dr. Katta came to the United States in 1987 joining Oak Forest Hospital, Oak Forest, Illinois as a House Officer in Geriatrics and Chronic Diseases. After being trained in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan for 3 years and serving as Chief Medical Resident for one year, Dr. Katta did his Cardiology Fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He then pursued a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Rochester/Rochester General Hospital from July 1995 - June 1996. During these fellowships, Dr. Katta served as a Clinical Instructor in Medicine.

Dr. Katta is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology and is certified by the American College of Cardiology in Electrocardiography. He is also a specialist in Clinical Hypertension, certified by the American Society of Hypertension. Dr. Katta is committed to providing the most advanced care for his patients. With extensive training in all aspects of Cardiology including Balloon Angioplasty, Intracoronary stents, and Rotoblators, Dr. Katta has studied and trained in depth with renowned cardiologists in the United States. He is also an instructor for the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course. He has also published articles and abstracts in medical journals. Dr. Katta is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.

Dr. Katta is a United States citizen and resides in Huntsville with his wife and two children.


Alex Eganhouse, CRNP Alex Eganhouse is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in acute care. He is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated with a B.A. in nursing from Luther College in 2008 where he was captain of the diving team. He relocated to Huntsville in 2010 and worked on a cardiac unit at Huntsville Hospital through 2014 when he finished his graduate studies at UAH. He started working for Alabama Cardiology PC in February of 2015. He is an avid gymnastics fan and enjoys spending time with his partner/family, dogs, and exercising in his free time.
